Job Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans and specifications.
Review architectural and engineering drawings to determine material quantities, labor, and equipment costs.
Perform quantity takeoffs to calculate required materials.
Solicit bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring adherence to cost parameters.
Monitor ongoing project costs and provide regular updates.
Identify potential risks and include contingencies in cost estimates.
Suggest value engineering options to optimize costs.
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
Generate detailed cost reports and stay updated on market trends, including material and labor pricing.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator
