ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR / SITE ENGINEER – AUSCO

AUSCO is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Supervisor / Site Engineer to join our team.

Position Overview
We are seeking a capable Electrical Supervisor who can read and interpret electrical drawings, execute tasks on-site, and lead a team of electricians to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient project delivery. Knowledge and experience in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Supervise daily electrical site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and required standards.
• Lead, guide, and manage a team of electricians to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SEC regulations, Saudi Building Code requirements, and project specifications.
• Prepare material requests, verify quantities, and ensure proper installation of materials and equipment.
• Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Monitor project progress, prepare daily reports, and provide regular updates to the Project Engineer or management.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems, if experienced.
• Ensure proper documentation, including checklists, test reports, inspection records, and quality documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in electrical site supervision, preferably with experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with cable pulling, cable termination, electrical panels, MDB/SMDB installation, and conduit works.
• Good knowledge of low-voltage systems, grounding, and earthing.
• Experience with Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Attributes
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and SEC standards.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and other MEP teams.
• Practical, hands-on approach to site supervision and project execution.
