Description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provide maintenance and repair to Industrial Batteries, mainly Traction batteries used in electric Forklifts and Reach trucks. Experience with other Flooded Tubular batteries may also be considered.
- Follow a consistent and regular schedule to perform various types of maintenance on battery operated vehicles.
- Evaluation, monitoring and Troubleshooting of Traction batteries with proper tools. Should have done voltage , specific gravity analysis and discharge test of Traction cells.
- Evaluation of industrial chargers suitable for Tubular batteries
- Removing industrial batteries out of lift trucks and installing after repair / replacement.
- Must be able to operate and test equipment such as electric boom lifts, electric forklifts, reach trucks etc.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs.
- Should know driving and should have driving license
Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in repairing, maintaining and operating assorted electric forklifts and other battery operated vehicles
- 3 to 5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining Traction Batteries.
- Ability to operate large, heavy machinery.
- Drive a service van
- Ability to lift 30+ kg.
