1. Education/Experience/Competencies

• 3 years experience of working as A/c technician
• 2 years experience in 4-star hotel

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


Maintain and repair of air condition and ventilation equipment


KEY PERFORMANCE AREA



• Determines work priorities and supplies needed
• Maintains adherence to the hotel’s policies and safety standards
• Ensures that equipment and machinery are properly maintained
• Develops working procedure for the job, material requirements and equipment required
• Maintains and performs preventive maintenance on controls and related equipment, adjusts and
calibrates equipment when necessary
• Responds to complaints regarding AC equipment and adjust or repair where necessary
• Performs all repairs on pumps and compressors
• Performs electrical and pipefitting repairs to AC systems
• Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene and appearance according to the hotel
standards for employees under his supervision
• Providing a daily report for his supervisor / manager
• Other duties as assigned.




Standard duties:
• To have a thorough knowledge of all the facilities and services offered or for sale by the hotel.
• To maintain at all times the highest standards of appearance and social skills, according to company policy.
• To work in harmony with all staff, and with any department related with the operation.
• To attend training as and when required.
• To be familiar with the staff handbook, house rules fire and security procedures.
