JOB DESCRIPTION
Being responsible for the daily production of chocolate and confectionery items, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation. This role involves hands-on execution of key chocolate-making techniques, including molding, enrobing, preparing fillings, and basic tempering, while strictly following established recipes and production standards.
The position requires organizing and managing daily production schedules to meet operational demands, ensuring efficiency and timely output.
Oversee the preparation of ganache pralines, caramels, and other fillings, maintaining precision in measurements and techniques to achieve high-quality results.
In addition to production duties, the role includes maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly used and sanitized according to food safety and hygiene standards. The chef is also responsible for monitoring ingredient quality, assisting with stock control, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of raw materials.
Collaboration with the kitchen team is essential to maintain smooth operations, and the role may involve guiding junior staff or comis chocolatiers in basic tasks. Attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment are key to success in this role.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Supports the chocolate production team in the preparation and execution of a wide range of chocolate and confectionery products. This role involves assisting with ingredient preparation, accurately scaling and measuring raw materials, and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
Performs basic production tasks such as tempering chocolate, molding, filling, and decorating under the guidance of senior chocolatiers.
Additionally, the role requires maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, organizing workstations efficiently, and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.
Following recipes and production schedules closely, assist in stock rotation, and contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Wrapping & Filling Labor
The Wrapping Labor is responsible for packaging finished chocolate and confectionery products in accordance with company standards for quality, hygiene, and presentation. This role involves wrapping chocolates manually or using packaging machines, ensuring each product is properly sealed, labeled, and visually consistent.
The position includes arranging products into boxes or trays, preparing orders for storage or shipment, and verifying that packaging materials meet production requirements. The Wrapping Labor works closely with the production team to maintain a steady workflow and meet daily output targets.
Additional duties include inspecting products for defects before packaging, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and following all food safety and sanitation guidelines. The role may also involve handling packaging equipment, restocking wrapping materials, and assisting in basic production tasks when needed.
Detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and capable of performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency. Teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety procedures are essential for success in this role.
