About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fabrication Workshop Manager to oversee daily workshop operations, manage fabrication teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all workshop fabrication activities.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate production workflows to meet project deadlines.
Lead, train, and evaluate workshop personnel, including fabricators, welders, and technicians.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Monitor productivity, material usage, and equipment performance.
Coordinate with engineering, project management, procurement, and quality departments.
Review fabrication drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workshop efficiency.
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of fabrication workshop experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding processes, and workshop operations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with quality standards and workplace safety regulations.
Proficiency in production planning and resource management.
