Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior ELV Tendering & Estimation Engineer to lead and control all ELV tendering activities. The role requires deep technical knowledge of ELV systems and the ability to critically review, challenge, and validate inputs received from design and engineering teams before pricing. This position acts as a technical–commercial gatekeeper for all ELV tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end ELV tendering activities, from tender receipt to final submission.
Review, analyze, and challenge designs, layouts, and system concepts received from the design team.
Validate system architecture, quantities, and integration logic before cost estimation.
Prepare accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing models based on validated technical data.
Identify scope gaps, design risks, under-designed areas, and over-specifications.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain technically compliant and commercially optimized quotations.
Prepare technical compliance matrices, clarifications, assumptions, and exclusions.
Support value engineering and alternative proposals without compromising system performance.
Benchmark pricing against historical tenders and live Saudi market data.
Support management during commercial reviews, negotiations, and final approvals.
Technical Knowledge Requirements:
Strong working knowledge and judgment capability in:
CCTV, VMS, Video Analytics
Access Control, Intercom, Perimeter Systems
Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)
AV & Command Control Rooms
Public Address & Voice Alarm
Networking (active & passive – estimation perspective)
BMS / KNX integration (scope validation level)
IPTV, GRMS, and low-current integrations
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering.
8–12 years of solid experience in ELV tendering and estimation.
Proven ability to review and technically judge designs, not just price them.
Strong understanding of Saudi standards, consultants’ practices, and vendor ecosystems.
High proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD (review level), and tender documentation.
Strong analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
Preferred (Advantage):
Experience in giga projects, hospitality, healthcare, or large mixed-use developments.
Familiarity with NRM2 / CSI Div 27 & 28 cost structuring.
Certifications such as RCDD, CTS, PSP, KNX are a plus.
