Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:
• Develop, update, and optimize detailed routine maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation assets.
• Prepare comprehensive work packages that include job scope, safety procedures, required materials, tools, labor, and time estimates.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and other departments to ensure all pre-requisites for maintenance work are in place.
• Schedule and allocate manpower and resources to minimize interference with production goals.
Technical Expertise:
• Utilize Primavera P6 (or similar) to create, manage, and track maintenance schedules, critical paths, and resource loading.
• Use SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module for all maintenance management processes, including:
o Creating and managing notifications and work orders.
o Planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
o Managing the inventory of spare parts and materials.
o Reviewing and closing work orders with technical history and documentation.
Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance plans and work packages incorporate and comply with all company safety standards, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments (e.g., JSA, HAZOP) for planned maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement:
• Analyze maintenance performance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance strategies, planning processes, and job plans to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Reporting & Communication:
• Provide regular reports on maintenance schedule adherence, backlog, and resource utilization.
• Liaise effectively with operations teams, maintenance supervisors, and technicians to ensure clear communication and execution of plans.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning within the Petrochemical, Refining, or a similar continuous process industry.
• Technical Skills (Mandatory):
o Proven hands-on experience with Primavera P6 for project and maintenance scheduling.
o Proven hands-on experience with the SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) module.
• Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of maintenance concepts (Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance).
o Knowledge of engineering standards, safety protocols, and reliability principles in a petrochemical environment.
