Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, particularly in low-current work and networking initiatives for IT services. This includes identifying untapped markets, building strategic relationships, and promoting IT solutions to prospective clients. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, networking capabilities, and a proactive approach to creating opportunities in a competitive IT services market.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue low-current work opportunities and untapped IT services markets.

Build and maintain strong professional networks within target industries and client organizations.

Develop tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure feasibility and delivery of IT solutions.

Attend industry events, seminars, and networking functions to expand client base.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business avenues.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and business development activities.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Additional certifications in sales, networking, or IT services are a plus.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales within IT services, technology solutions, or related sectors.

Proven ability to generate business from low-activity areas or through networking initiatives.

Strong understanding of IT services, software solutions, and technology trends.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to identify and develop opportunities.
