Description

We are seeking a motivated Fresh Produce Procurement Assistant to support our procurement team in sourcing high-quality fruits and vegetables. The ideal candidate will assist in market research, supplier management, and cost optimization to ensure a stable supply of fresh produce.

Key Responsibilities:
Market & Origin Research:

1、Assist in visiting farms, wholesale markets, and supplier bases to gather data on pricing, quality, and supply availability.
2、Track seasonal trends and price fluctuations to provide procurement optimization recommendations.

Supplier Coordination:

1、Support in identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
2、Follow up on orders, coordinate deliveries, and handle quality inspections and issue resolution.

Cost Control:

1、Compare procurement costs across different channels and assist in price negotiations.
2、Organize procurement data and generate cost analysis reports.

Additional Support:

Process procurement documentation, assist in inventory coordination, and handle ad-hoc tasks.

Education & Skills:

1、Preferred degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related fields.
2、Willingness to travel frequently (farm/market visits); driver's license preferred.
3、Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas).

Experience & Abilities:

1+ year in procurement, fresh produce, or agricultural industry (training provided for motivated candidates).

Understanding of produce characteristics (shelf life, seasonal cycles).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Personal Attributes:

Hardworking (early morning market visits may be required).

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
