Description



We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee the mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely and safe completion. The successful candidate will lead mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning activities, manage mechanical teams, and coordinate with other disciplines.

_Key Responsibilities:_

_Technical:_

1. Review and interpret mechanical designs, specifications, and drawings.
2. Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
3. Oversee mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning.
4. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions.
5. Conduct site inspections and monitor mechanical work quality.

_Leadership:_

1. Lead and manage mechanical teams, including supervisors and technicians.
2. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance.
3. Develop and implement mechanical construction plans and schedules.
4. Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure project deliverables.

_Safety:_

1. Ensure mechanical safety procedures are followed on site.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
3. Investigate mechanical incidents and implement corrective actions.

_Communication:_

1. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
2. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
3. Coordinate with procurement teams for mechanical material delivery.

_Administrative:_

1. Manage mechanical documentation, records, and reports.
2. Track expenses and monitor budgetary compliance.
3. Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning.

_Requirements:_

_Education:_

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

_Experience:_

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, construction, or related industry.
- Proven experience in site management, team leadership, and project coordination.

_Skills:_

- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

_Certifications:_

- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
- OSHA certification or equivalent
