Job Summary:
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the water treatment plant. This role involves supervising a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring that all electrical activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:

Lead and supervise a team of electricians and electrical technicians, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance and training as needed.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any personnel issues within the team.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of electrical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, control systems, and lighting.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of the plant.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of electrical equipment.
Installation and Upgrades:

Supervise the installation of new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring that they are properly integrated into the plant's existing infrastructure.
Coordinate with other departments and contractors for the successful execution of installation and upgrade projects.
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions to address any hazards or non-compliance issues.
Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inspection reports.
Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of electrical systems, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues.
Collaborate with management to develop and update maintenance procedures and policies.
Budgeting and Resource Management:

Assist in preparing and managing the budget for electrical maintenance and repairs.
Ensure that all electrical materials and equipment are procured efficiently and within budget.
Manage the inventory of electrical spare parts and supplies.
Technical Support:

Provide technical support and expertise to the operations team to optimize the performance of electrical systems.
Stay updated with advancements in electrical technology and recommend improvements to enhance plant efficiency.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 Plus of years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 7-8 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a water treatment plant or similar industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and relevant safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
