Summary of Role
Responsible for leading a design team together with the development team to ensure the delivery of new designs from the concept stage to the development of project prototypes ready for executions. Drive creative thinking, ensure project needs are considered and collaborate with the operations team to ensure service are designed for efficient executions. Deliver the agreed engineering objectives established in the plan and considering the organization longer-term strategy road map. Work on multiple company projects requiring innovative solutions that advance the technical field. Long range strategic planning will affect the Company’s success.

Key Accountabilities
• Must have 10+ year experience in design field. Also 7+ years diverse experience in Saudi Arabia in Design and Technical Project Management.
• Minimum 3-year experience in lead position on same role.
• Have Sound knowledge of infrastructure, underground utilities, TCF project construction and design.
• Capable to coordinate all discipline Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, ICT, security, Fire Fighting, and Fire protection, HVAC, BMS.
• Capable to capture and specify the design requirements and the development and validation needed to deliver design packages to project specifications and requirement.
• Familiar with BIM / GIS.
• Resolving design problems or issues that arise during the project.
• Have executed ARAMCO / Neom / TCF Project and well aware of all related design aspects and site requirement as per Neom / Aramco standard/specification.
• Have sound knowledge of international standards / SBC / ACI / ASHRAE and other relevant standard to meet engineering requirement.
• Strong communication and negotiations skills to present company interest Infront of Client / consultant.
• Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical preferred.
• Capable to review comment, proof read, coordinate with drafting, design team and/or design consultant.
• Capable to coordinate with consultants, clients, and site team for timely approved and execution of site works.
• Conversant with engineering software as per requirements of the business.
• Develop and implement successful design strategies by outlining how the design team will create the project's deliverables.
• Creation and implementation of best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Ensures and monitor the preparation and submittal of the project design deliverables.
• Collaborate with other design external teams, for the development of designs that ensures compliance with executed contract design scope.
• Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on engineering design and development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
• Analyze issues to resolve issues, for example stresses, calculations, simulation and modelling using design software programs such as STAAD, Micro-station, REVIT, Autodesk Civil3D or any commonly used structural engineering and analysis software.
• Lead the team to create a range of 2D/3D models for a number of proposal and development systems for the project components.
• Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to upper management and customers and provide regular progress updates.
• Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
• Provide technical expertise to the team.
