Key Responsibilities:
Menu Development:
oCreate and develop an authentic menu featuring traditional and contemporary dishes.
oCollaborate with the kitchen team to innovate and introduce seasonal specials.
Food Preparation:
oPrepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
oEnsure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes served.
Kitchen Management:
oOversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
oTrain and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes.
Quality Control:
oMaintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
oMonitor portion control and waste management to minimize costs.
Qualifications:
ï‚·Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel.
ï‚·Extensive knowledge of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
ï‚·Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
ï‚·Strong leadership and team management skills.
ï‚·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ï‚·Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
