Manufacturing Quality Control and Assurance Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Control and Assurance Engineer with experience in ISO certifications (including 13485) and UL certifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and a proven track record in quality management and process improvement in the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control and assurance processes and procedures for manufacturing operations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and UL certifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain quality metrics to monitor and improve manufacturing performance
• Provide technical expertise and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conduct training sessions for manufacturing personnel on quality control and assurance processes and procedures
• Continuously evaluate and improve quality control and assurance processes to optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality
• Participate in customer and regulatory audits as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in quality management and process improvement in the IT industry
• Experience as an auditor for ISO certifications (including 13485) and UL certifications.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP requirements is preferred
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is preferred
