Description

We are a company specializing in transportation and logistics services, and we are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager with comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial matters related to the transportation and logistics industry. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the company’s overall accounting and financial operations.
* Review accounting entries and ensure their accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
* Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, customers, and suppliers.
* Monitor revenues, expenses, and cash flow.
* Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
* Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports and financial statements.
* Supervise monthly and annual accounting closing processes.
* Monitor invoices and operational expenses related to transportation and logistics activities.
* Ensure compliance with Zakat, VAT, and other applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
* Supervise the accounting team, assign responsibilities, and review the accuracy and quality of their work.
* Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide all required financial information and documentation.
* Prepare financial reports and analyses for management.
* Ensure compliance with the company’s approved accounting and financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
* Previous experience in transportation or logistics companies is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Good knowledge of Zakat, VAT, and related financial and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to manage an accounting team and effectively organize and follow up on financial activities.
* Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
