## Production Coordinator – Mechanical (Signage Industry)

### Job Summary

The Production Coordinator – Mechanical is responsible for coordinating and monitoring mechanical production activities for signage projects from approved drawings through fabrication, finishing, and installation. The position requires strong mechanical knowledge and relevant experience in the signage, metal fabrication, or advertising manufacturing industry.

### Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate daily production activities for signage and metal fabrication projects.
* Review approved shop drawings, production drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
* Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Production, Procurement, and Installation teams.
* Monitor cutting, bending, welding, grinding, assembly, and finishing activities.
* Coordinate with CNC, laser cutting, bending, welding, and fabrication teams.
* Verify dimensions, material requirements, quantities, and fabrication details.
* Prepare and monitor production schedules.
* Monitor production progress and provide regular updates to the Production Manager.
* Coordinate material availability with Procurement and Stores.
* Identify production delays, material shortages, drawing discrepancies, and technical issues.
* Coordinate with site teams regarding installation requirements.
* Conduct quality checks during different stages of production.
* Maintain production records, job cards, material requirements, and project documentation.
* Support the Production Manager in improving production efficiency and reducing material wastage.
* Ensure compliance with company safety and quality procedures.

### Educational Qualification

* **B.Tech / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering** or a related field.
* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant signage/metal fabrication experience may also be considered.

### Experience

* **2–5 years of relevant experience** in mechanical production, metal fabrication, signage manufacturing, or a related industry.
* **Signage / advertising manufacturing experience is preferred.**
* Practical experience in metal fabrication and signage production processes is required.

### Technical Skills

* Strong knowledge of mechanical fabrication and metal works.
* Good understanding of signage manufacturing processes.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical/shop drawings.
* Knowledge of MS, GI, aluminum, stainless steel, and related materials.
* Knowledge of welding, cutting, bending, grinding, drilling, and assembly.
* Familiarity with CNC and laser cutting processes.
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
* Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

* Good coordination and communication skills.
* Strong follow-up and organizational abilities.
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to coordinate effectively with production, engineering, fabrication, and installation
