URGENT HIRING – Electrical QC Inspector (High Voltage 380kV Substation)
Location: Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical QC Inspector to join our team for a 380kV High Voltage GIS/AIS Substation Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control, inspection, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems and must be committed to delivering work in accordance with international standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct quality inspections for electrical installation works on 380kV GIS/AIS substations.
• Inspect power transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, circuit breakers, disconnectors, CTs, VTs/CVTs, surge arresters, reactors, protection panels, control panels, marshalling kiosks, and auxiliary systems.
• Witness and verify electrical testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, contact resistance, transformer testing, SF6 gas testing, relay testing, primary and secondary injection, and functional testing.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, method statements, IFC drawings, project specifications, and quality procedures.
• Inspect cable laying, dressing, glanding, termination, grounding, bonding, labeling, and cable tray installations.
• Prepare and review Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), NCRs, punch lists, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, SEC, and project-specific standards.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Maintain quality records and support timely project completion.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience as an Electrical QC Inspector in High Voltage Substation Projects (132kV/230kV/380kV).
• Proven experience with 380kV GIS/AIS Substations and electrical testing & commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, SEC, and international quality standards.
• Experience in QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, ITPs, and material inspections.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Saudi Arabia project experience is preferred.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is an advantage.
