A leading Heavy Equipment Rental company is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead the finance function of one of its business divisions. This is a high-impact role with responsibilities typically associated with a Finance Manager position.

Mandatory Requirements

Only candidates meeting the following criteria should apply:
• Master level in Finance and accounts. Further professional qualifications like CMA, CPA will be an add on.
• Transferable Iqama with immediate availability.
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the Heavy Equipment Rental industry (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Heavy Equipment Rental business processes, controls, profitability drivers, and operational finance.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, ZATCA regulations, VAT, Withholding Tax, and statutory compliance requirements in KSA.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and finance process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the complete finance and accounting function for the division.
• Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Lead AR, AP, Treasury, General Ledger, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, variance analysis, and management presentations.
• Monitor and analyze key rental business KPIs including fleet utilization, revenue yield, equipment ROI, working capital efficiency, collection performance, and profitability.
• Ensure robust internal controls and successful completion of external audits.
• Prepare fixed asset registers and lease schedules of equipment fleets.
• Support management with accurate financial insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
• Lead ERP implementation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
