Description

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems for construction and building projects, ensuring they are safe, efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with Saudi and international standards. The role also involves coordinating with different engineering disciplines and supporting projects from design through implementation.

Main Responsibilities
Electrical Design
Prepare electrical layouts and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
Design power, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
Perform electrical load calculations.
Conduct system analysis and simulations.
Ensure designs meet project specifications and applicable electrical codes.
Documentation
Prepare:
Design drawings
Technical specifications
Engineering reports
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
Keep all project documents updated.
Coordination
Work with:
Mechanical engineers
Civil engineers
Architects
Clients
Ensure electrical systems integrate properly with the overall building design.
Project Support
Review design changes.
Resolve technical issues during construction.
Assist site engineers when design clarification is required.
Quality & Compliance
Follow Saudi Building Code (SBC), IEC, NEC (where applicable), and company standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
