**Civil Engineer Position**
**Location:** Al Jubail

**Job Description:**
- Review and understand the EPC Contractor's Construction Philosophy, ensuring compliance with contract documents and local standards.
- Evaluate the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) submitted by the EPC Contractor prior to the commencement of work and ensure it aligns with contract documents.
- Inform the client and contractor of any deviations and necessary corrective actions.
- Assess the adequacy of the mobilization efforts by the EPC Contractor in accordance with the plan and recommend corrective actions if required.
- Review the work procedures and method statements submitted by the EPC Contractor, advising on corrections when necessary.
- Understand the priorities of work based on the overall project schedule and guide the EPC Contractor to focus on priority areas, alongside reviewing the availability of supply materials in alignment with construction priorities.
- Supervise the project in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and the QAP. Ensure the availability of construction quality documents, protocols, and test results as per the agreed UAP from the EPC Contractor.
- Conduct physical inspections of work (e.g., line, level, reinforcement, formwork, and embedment) according to the drawings. Perform quality audits on-site.
- Witness various tests conducted at the laboratory by the EPC Contractor.

- Suggest corrective actions as necessary and notify the EPC Contractor of any observed violations for compliance.
- Review, check, and certify the Joint Measurement Record (JMR) of work.
- Attend scheduled meetings and assist the on-site Project Manager in coordinating with the SYYT and Engineering Department to address and resolve any issues during execution. eetings and assist the on-site Project Manager in coordinating with the SYYT and Engineering Department to address and resolve any issues during execution.
