Job Description

:
• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly fabrication schedules based on project deadlines. Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to meet production targets.

• Drawing Interpretation & CNC Data Management: Review shop drawings, assembly drawings, and cutting plans received from the detailing department. Transfer CNC data (DSTV/NC files) to automated cutting, drilling, and sawing machines.

• Material Take-Off & Inventory Control: Monitor raw material inventory (beams, plates, pipes, welding consumables) and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure materials are available before production starts.

• Shop Floor Supervision: Directly supervise fabricators, fitters, welders, and machine operators. Ensure all fabrication processes (cutting, fitting, welding, grinding) follow the approved shop drawings.

• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the fabrication line and implement Lean manufacturing principles to minimize material waste, reduce idle machine time, and improve overall productivity.

• Quality Control (QC) Coordination: Work closely with QC inspectors to ensure all welded and fabricated components meet project specifications, welding procedure specifications (WPS), and international standards.

• Surface Treatment Oversight: Coordinate the moving of fabricated steel to blasting and painting yards, ensuring specified DFT (Dry Film Thickness) and coating requirements are met.


• Dispatch & Loading Planning: Oversee the safe bundling, tagging, and loading of finished steel structures onto trailers for transport to the construction site.
