We Are Hiring: Electrical Technician

Job Purpose:
To perform installation, maintenance, testing, and operational activities for electrical systems—particularly medium-voltage (MV) and protection systems—ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality equipment performance in accordance with industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lay and terminate control cables and medium-voltage (MV) cables as per approved technical specifications.
Dismantle, install, test, and commission protection panels and MV switchgear (SWGR).
Perform all types of cable terminations, including LV and control cables.
Modify, troubleshoot, and update control circuits in line with project requirements.
Execute retrofit and upgrade work for legacy/old electrical panels.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
Install electrical panels, wiring systems, breakers, transformers, and control devices.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, including Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and detailed control schematics.
Follow all safety, quality, and occupational health procedures during work execution.
Prepare technical reports and submit them to the direct supervisor.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper care and usage.
Support engineers during project execution, testing, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or an equivalent field.
3–5 years of practical experience in medium-voltage, protection, or control systems.
Hands-on experience in:
Control and LV cable terminations
Dismantling and installing protection panels and MV switchgear
Modifying and upgrading control circuits
Retrofit and modernization of old electrical panels
Ability to read electrical drawings and operate electrical testing instruments.
Strong technical knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems.
