Description

the chef must be specialized in Saudi Arabian cuisine; however, Saudi nationality is not required, as this will be a part-time role.

The chef will work as part of my team and will be engaged on an on-call basis, depending on project needs such as:

Product development and formulation adjustment: applying culinary techniques to translate R&D concepts into products with improved flavor, texture, and presentation.
Sample and prototype preparation: ensuring consistency in preparation, portioning, and finishing of samples for internal evaluations, sensory tests, and presentations.
Process and cooking method testing: simulating real preparation conditions (industrial and foodservice) to support scalability and technical feasibility.
Preliminary sensory evaluation: supporting the R&D team in identifying sensory adjustments prior to formal testing, saving time and resources.
Support for events, workshops, and demonstrations: preparing dishes and presentations for internal stakeholders, customers, and partners, strengthening innovation communication.
Interface between R&D and culinary application: acting as a bridge between technical development and end-use application, ensuring solutions are practical and consumer-relevant.


The experience description:

Proven experience as a Head Chef in high-end restaurants, hotels, or catering operations, with strong specialization in Saudi Arabian cuisine.
In-depth knowledge of traditional Saudi dishes, ensuring authenticity in flavor, technique, and presentation.
Ability to reinterpret traditional dishes and develop modern and contemporary cuisine, while preserving cultural identity and culinary excellence.
Demonstrated experience in planning, preparing, and executing large-scale events, including banquets, weddings, corporate events, and VIP receptions, maintaining high quality.
Strong expertise in menu engineering, seasonal menu development, and customization based on client profiles and event concepts.
Experience with live cooking stations and interactive culinary presentations for premium and high-profile events.
Thorough knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance requirements.
Strong cultural awareness and understanding of Saudi traditions and hospitality protocols, including religious practices and seasonal requirements such as Ramadan.

Basic Salary: 5800-7800 SAR depending on the experience, food allowance: 200 SAR
