Job Responsibilities

1. Operate low-bed trailers, hydraulic trailers, and SPT (modular axle line) tractor heads with proficiency. Perform precise coupling and decoupling with trailers or modular axle lines. Adapt to various road conditions and handle the operational challenges of transporting ultra-heavy and oversized cargo (100+ tons).

2.Work closely with modular axle operators (SPT operators) and on-site supervisors to maintain efficient communication throughout loading, securing, transportation, and unloading processes. Accurately execute coordinated operational instructions to ensure seamless integration between traction and load-bearing operations.

3.Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of the tractor unit’s core systems, including the powertrain, transmission, braking system, steering system, coupling mechanisms, and safety protection devices. Perform routine maintenance and basic servicing of the tractor head.

4.Strictly comply with Saudi local traffic regulations, heavy transport permit requirements, and company safety procedures. Ensure proper cargo securing verification, installation of warning signage, and route reporting/approval compliance measures.

5.Maintain detailed records of tractor operating data, mileage, cargo information (weight, dimensions, destination), vehicle inspection results, and maintenance logs, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.

Job Requirements

1 Minimum of 8 years of heavy truck driving experience, including at least 6 years operating heavy haul tractor heads. Proficient in driving tractor units for low-bed trailers, hydraulic trailers, and modular axle lines (SPT). Experience transporting ultra-heavy cargo exceeding 100 tons is preferred.

2 Highly skilled in precise coupling and decoupling operations between tractor heads and different types of trailers (low-bed, hydraulic trailers) and modular axle lines. Strong coordination skills when working with SPT operators.

3 Valid heavy truck driving license. Familiar with Saudi heavy transportation safety standards, local traffic regulations, road restrictions, and special requirements for overweight cargo transport.

4 Knowledgeable in heavy transport safety standards, oversized cargo securing methods, and load distribution calculation principles.

5 Age between 28–50 years old, physically fit (no hypertension, heart disease, cervical spine disorders, or other medical conditions unsuitable for heavy vehicle operation or high-intensity work). Able to work rotating shifts. Basic English communication skills required.
