Description

🚨 Urgently Required – Cable Assembly Technician (Soldering & Crimping)

📍 Location: Saudi Arabia
🏭 Department: Production
👤 Reporting To: Factory Head

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Perform cable cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, ferruling, and termination as per approved drawings and BOM.

Carry out precision soldering and assembly of D-Sub connectors, FRC connectors, and multicore cable assemblies used in automation panels.

Read and accurately interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and technical datasheets.

Select appropriate lugs, connectors, terminals, ferrules, heat shrink sleeves, and related accessories as per specifications.

Ensure correct crimping using calibrated tools and maintain crimp pull-force and quality standards.

Conduct continuity testing, insulation checks, and basic functional testing of cable assemblies.

Maintain workmanship standards in line with IPC and industry best practices.

Adhere strictly to 5S methodology and safety guidelines in the production area.

Identify defects and perform rework where necessary.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in cable assembly, soldering, and crimping operations.

Good knowledge of wire gauges, grounding, shielding, and connector types.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
