Description

urgent required for a listed company A/P accountant - Costing will be responsible for:

Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices and purchase orders.
Match invoices with GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and purchase orders.
Ensure invoices are properly coded to the correct GL accounts and cost centers.
Process payments (checks, bank transfers, online payments) in compliance with company policy.
Maintain vendor records and update payment terms, bank details, etc.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor A/P aging report and prepare weekly/monthly payment schedules.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve invoice issues.
Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and prepare VAT input reports.


2. Costing Responsibilities

Prepare standard cost calculations for finished goods and raw materials.
Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and monitor changes in material and labor costs.
Review and update standard costing regularly.
Validate production costs and ensure accurate allocation of overhead.
Conduct variance analysis (material variance, labor variance, overhead variance).
Support monthly and annual cost closing activities.
Prepare reports for cost of goods sold (COGS) and gross margin analysis.
Assist in inventory valuation and physical count processes.
Analyze manufacturing performance and recommend cost-saving opportunities.


preferred experience 3-4 years.
English Speaker. (Pakistani - Indian. - Sirlanki - Filipino ).
