Description

We at OFC are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our project team in Saudi Arabia for fabrication and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring all fabrication activities are planned and executed on time and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules and baseline plans using planning tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

Monitor project progress and coordinate with fabrication, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and project management teams to track milestones and resolve delays.

Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity sequencing, resource and material planning, and critical path analysis.

Identify schedule risks and impacts; recommend mitigation strategies and recovery plans.

Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and performance metrics for stakeholders.

Support planning meetings and present updates to project leadership.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or related).

Minimum 5 years of planning experience in fabrication, industrial, or EPC projects in Saudi Arabia.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project and strong MS Excel skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
