Job Title Enquiry Engineer (Tendering Department)

Location Riyadh, KSA
Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.

Strong supplier and subcontractor network with solid knowledge of labour, equipment, materials, and subcontracting markets.
Ability to interpret tender documents, drawings, and BOQ with strong analytical skills.


JD:

Organize and conduct tender enquiry activities based on tender documents, design reports, drawings, and BOQ, ensuring full coverage of the project scope required by the Client.
Manage enquiries for manpower, equipment, materials, subcontracting, insurance, and other cost components, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all quotations.
Develop, maintain, and expand a strong supplier and subcontractor network, ensuring access to competitive, compliant, and technically suitable quotations.
Match suppliers’ offers with the technical specifications and project requirements, ensuring all quoted items fully comply with Client standards.
Perform price comparison, technical evaluation, and commercial analysis, and recommend the most cost-effective and reliable suppliers/subcontractors.
Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs while ensuring compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
Prepare and deliver enquiry records, price comparison sheets, technical evaluation sheets, and supplier selection justifications for tender submissions.
Establish a communication mechanism between suppliers/subcontractors and the internal technical evaluation team to ensure technical clarity, quotation accuracy, quality assurance, and price rationality.
Support tender pricing by updating the cost breakdown and quotation sheet based on the latest enquiry results.
Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and industry developments, and provide market intelligence for tender strategy formulation.
Coordinate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Commercial, and Contract Departments to support technical and commercial clarifications throughout the tendering process.
