Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician with hands-on experience in Edwards Fire Alarm Systems (EST) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and test Edwards Fire Alarm (EST) systems and related devices.

Perform programming, configuration, and integration of control panels, detectors, and modules.

Conduct periodic inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) activities as per NFPA 72 standards.

Diagnose and resolve system faults and ensure proper system operation.

Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure compliance with design drawings and safety codes.

Prepare service and inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Ensure adherence to all safety and company procedures during site work.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm installation and maintenance.

Mandatory experience with Edwards (EST) Fire Alarm Systems.

Knowledge of NFPA standards and local civil defense requirements.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Valid driving license preferred.

Certification in Edwards System or equivalent training is an advantage.
