Job Purpose

The Oracle Applications Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Oracle ERP / NetSuite solutions to support and enhance the company’s business operations. This role focuses on building integrations, improving system performance, and providing technical support to business units to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize Oracle ERP / NetSuite applications according to business requirements.

Build and integrate interfaces between Oracle and other systems using APIs, Web Services, REST, and SOAP.

Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Create and maintain reports using Oracle Reports and BI Publisher.

Develop and maintain PL/SQL code including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Test, debug, and optimize system performance.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

Document all technical processes and development work for future reference.

Provide technical support to accounting, procurement, HR, and operations teams.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure system security and data protection.

Support user training on new system features and functionalities.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle applications development.

Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL.

Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports and BI Publisher.

Proficiency in REST and SOAP Web Services.

Solid understanding of core ERP modules, including:

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

General Ledger (GL)

Procurement / Inventory

Familiarity with SuiteScript for NetSuite is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred certifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

Oracle Fusion Developer Certification

NetSuite SuiteFoundation (a plus).
