A major industrial initiative in Jazan is seeking a skilled and proactive Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to support strategic sourcing and procurement operations. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services that fuel complex energy and infrastructure projects.

Main Purpose of the Role
To ensure the reliable and compliant sourcing of goods and services by leveraging market insights, supplier relationships, and procurement best practices—ultimately supporting operational efficiency and organizational success.

Key Objectives
???? Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Evaluation
Identify, assess, and onboard reliable suppliers to secure quality goods and services at competitive prices.

???? Contract Negotiation & Risk Management
Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.

???? Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all procurement activities align with Saudi government regulations, tax laws, and import/export duties.

⏱️ Operational Support
Procure equipment, raw materials, and services in a timely manner to avoid operational delays.

???? Market & Technology Monitoring
Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier dynamics to optimize purchasing strategies.

???? Economic Impact Analysis
Evaluate currency fluctuations, taxation, and trade norms to mitigate financial risks in procurement decisions.

???? Supplier Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply chain reliability.

???? Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance procurement operations and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Experience
???? Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (required)
Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) and certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CIPS, Six Sigma or Lean (preferred)

???? Experience
6–10 years in procurement or supply chain, ideally within energy, gasification, or power production sectors
Proven track record in sourcing high-value contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships
Familiarity with Saudi regulatory and economic environments is a plus

???? Skills & Knowledge
Strong sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management skills
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Expert understanding of tax laws, customs regulations, and international trade norms
Proficient in negotiation, financial analysis, and risk mitigation
