Description



We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, and managing all activities related to work permits and site safety.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and enforce company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Conduct daily site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Prepare and manage Work Permit applications (Hot Work, Confined Space, Excavation, Electrical, etc.) in coordination with the client’s Safety Department.

Ensure that all work permits are issued, reviewed, and closed in accordance with company and client procedures.

Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.

Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly.

Maintain up-to-date records of safety documentation, inspection reports, and training records.

Liaise with site management and client representatives to promote a zero-incident safety culture.

Monitor and ensure compliance with local safety regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

NEBOSH / OSHA / IOSH certification preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, civil, or industrial projects.

Experience in Work Permit Systems and coordination with client safety departments is a must.

Strong communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Valid and transferable?Iqama?required.
