Description

The Pool Technician is responsible for timely repair and maintenance of the compound swimming pool facilities within a gated residential community (Compound) that is comprised of 07 Satellite pools, one semi-Olympic size main swimming pool and an indoor pool. The Pool Operator must be well-versed in tools and equipment and including swimming pool chemicals.

• Daily pool vacuum and back wash of the sand filters.
• Cleaning and vacuuming of the pool surroundings and pool deck.
• Check the pool water levels and back fill if necessary
• Checking and testing the water quality and chemical levels.
• Adjusting the PH and Chlorine levels as required.
• Clean skimmer and pump filter baskets regularly.
• Conducting a water test to check the levels 3 times a day.
• Adding the required chemicals as required.
• A routine check-up of the pump room and making sure all mechanical and electrical system is in operational
• Performs daily inspection in pool mechanical and electrical system such as chlorinators, chemical feeders, filtering systems, pumps and motors, in order to identify potential operational problems.
• Cleaning the pump room.
