Job Opportunity: Planning Engineer
Location: Dammam - Saudi Arabia

Role Purpose: The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, resource planning, and production forecasting to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of ready-mix concrete to clients. The role involves coordinating with operations, logistics, and project teams to optimize batching plant utilization, fleet deployment, and raw material availability.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁ Develop and maintain project schedules in line with client requirements and company operational capacity.
⦁ Coordinate with the batching plant, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely production and delivery of concrete.
⦁ Monitor and forecast daily, weekly, and monthly concrete production demands.
⦁ Optimize the allocation of resources (plants, mixers, pumps, manpower) for multiple projects simultaneously.
⦁ Track progress against project timelines and prepare variance reports.
⦁ Identify risks, bottlenecks, and delays, and propose corrective actions.
⦁ Prepare and update dashboards, reports, and KPIs related to production, fleet efficiency, and delivery performance.
⦁ Assist in tender and project planning by providing scheduling and resource estimation support.
⦁ Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

⦁ Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
⦁ Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the ready-mix concrete or construction industry.
⦁ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
⦁ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
⦁ Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Remuneration:
⦁ Basic: 3000 to 5000
⦁ 8 Hours Duty
⦁ OT Available
⦁ Rest Other Benefits as per Saudi Labor Law
