Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Tank Fabricator responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal storage tanks, pressure vessels, and structural components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in welding, fitting, and working with different metals, particularly carbon steel and stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.

Lay out, cut, fit, and weld metal components to assemble storage tanks and vessels.

Operate fabrication tools including grinders, cutters, and welding machines (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, etc.).

Perform welding in accordance with ASME/API standards and procedures.

Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure fabrication meets quality and safety standards.

Collaborate with engineers and supervisors for any design or fabrication modifications.

Maintain tools and equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Follow safety guidelines and comply with company policies and project-specific procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in tank fabrication or heavy steel structure fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

Proficiency in various welding techniques (stick, TIG, MIG).

Experience with rolling machines, plate cutting, and fitting.

Knowledge of fabrication standards (ASME, API 650/620).

Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Certification in welding or fabrication is an advantage.

Preferred:
Experience working in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial fabrication workshops.

Knowledge of hydro-testing and NDT procedures.

Ability to lead a small team of helpers or welders if needed.
