Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall planning, organization, direction, and supervision of all operational activities within the sewage treatment plant

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily plant operations for optimal performance and compliance.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Manage and lead the operations team (supervisors, operators).
• Monitor plant performance data, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for scheduled and corrective repairs.
• Develop and manage the operational budget.
• Ensure accurate reporting to internal and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator - higher level) are highly desirable.
