Responsibilities
Testing Concrete Materials
Conduct tests on raw materials (cement, aggregates, water) and finished concrete products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Mix Design Preparation
Develop and modify concrete mix designs based on project specifications and performance requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of concrete production through regular testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Record and analyze test results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to management and engineering teams.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations within the laboratory and production areas to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of tests, results, and procedures, ensuring documentation is up to date and accessible.
Work closely with production teams, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to address any issues related to concrete quality.
Participate in the development of new concrete products and technologies, conducting trials and evaluations.
Provide training and support to junior technicians and other staff on laboratory procedures and best practices.
