We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Technical Consultant to lead the design, integration, and support of AV systems for a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of AV systems, project management experience, and a client-focused mindset to deliver innovative and high-performing AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Consulting & Design:

Engage with clients to gather requirements, conduct site surveys, and propose AV system designs.

Prepare detailed technical documentation including system schematics, signal flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.

Recommend AV technologies and solutions aligned with client needs and budgets.

Project Management:

Oversee AV projects from concept through to completion including planning, resource coordination, and timeline management.

Collaborate with architects, IT teams, contractors, and integrators throughout the design and implementation phases.

Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and budgets are met.

Installation & Integration:

Guide and support installation teams on equipment setup, calibration, and system testing.

Troubleshoot complex AV integration challenges and ensure optimal system performance.

Technical Support & Maintenance:

Provide post-installation support, maintenance plans, and system optimization.

Train end-users and stakeholders on AV system operations and best practices.

Innovation & Standards:

Stay current with AV industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Help define and enforce AV standards and guidelines across projects.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Audio Engineering, or related field.

5–10 years of experience in AV consulting, system design, or technical project management.

Strong knowledge of AV equipment (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Shure, Cisco, Barco, etc.).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, D-Tools, Bluebeam, Visio, or similar design/documentation tools.

Hands-on experience with video conferencing (VC), digital signage, control systems, and signal distribution (HDBaseT, AV-over-IP).

Industry certifications preferred: CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, PMP, Crestron/Extron certifications.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and system commissioning.
