About the job
SJ GROUP is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented to join their team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will be involved in supporting the procurement process for various projects, working closely
with project engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient material acquisition.
Responsibilities
• Preparation of procurement requests and review project specifications to determine the necessary
materials and services
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing
• Participate in the negotiation of contracts and procurement agreements
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and status of orders
• Communicate regularly with project teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery processes
• Support compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standard
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 6 to 8 years of experience in procurement field, preferably in the construction industry.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with procurement software is a plus
• Fluency in English & Arabic knowledge
