Job Title: CAD Technician / Quantity Surveyor / Drafter

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze AutoCAD drawings, blueprints, and technical plans for construction and fit-out projects.
• Extract and calculate quantities of materials and measurements from AutoCAD drawings.
• Collaborate with the project management and design teams to ensure accurate execution of plans.
• Conduct site visits to compare drawings to physical spaces when necessary.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for various projects.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings and recommend necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, architectural plans, and structural layouts.
• Experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or similar fields.
• Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills for precise calculations.
• Background in engineering, architecture, or a related field (degree or diploma preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of other software such as Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools.
• Familiarity with construction materials and methods.
• Experience in fit-out or contracting projects.
