Brief Job Description:

* Plan, allocate and supervise the calibration, preventive & corrective maintenance and first line trouble shooting activities on analyzers, gas chromatographs and F&G Alarm and Detection System, located in PDH, PP and UTOS plants.
* Support the provision of the safe work environment to subordinates by issuing proper materials, PPEs, tools and special safety equipment, where required. Promote Safety awareness among Analyzer and F&G technicians through regular Safety talks. Ensure that all procedural /legislative requirements are fulfilled.
* To Develop, review and executing religiously the calibration and preventive maintenance programs for Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs and F&G system. Maintain updated work instructions and check sheets for Calibration.
* Develop maintenance strategy to resolve the critical problems with the analyzers, Gas Chromatographs and F&G System. Ensure their reliable operation without any plant downtime. Suggest and implement necessary technical improvements.
* To review critical and non-critical spares and optimizing re-ordering levels.
* Keep strong follow-up on spares and calibration gas in time purchasing. Answer material queries pertaining to analyzers, gas chromatographs and Gas Detectors and F&G.
* Train and develop a team of technically competent Analyzer and F&G technicians capable of delivering the section objectives in terms of SHE, engineering standards, costs, and equipment reliability.
* Ensure planning and execution of plant shutdowns and turnaround within budget and planned time.
Identify and come up with a plan for addressing issue of obsolesces of Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs and F&G system. Perform life cycle management on timely basis
* Liaison communication with other departments /sections, contractors and vendors etc. as required for timely execution of related jobs.
* Coordinate with Project team and participate effectively in projects when and were assigned by Section Manager
* Prepare engineering packages, Review technical documents, provide budget estimations and develop procedures.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering


Experience:

8 -12 years of minimum professional experience of maintenance of Analyzers, gas chromatographs and Fire & Gas systems.
Required experience in petrochemical, oil & Gas plant.
