Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and resource management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience using Primavera and MS Project. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, managing, and updating project schedules, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring project alignment with timelines and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera and/or MS Project.
Prepare CPM (Critical Path Method) based baselines and ensure regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Allocate resources based on project requirements and adjust for any delays.
Identify delayed activities and develop corrective actions to keep the project on track.
Prepare and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), total float, Earned Value (EV), and other project metrics.
Track and report on project resources and costs, ensuring efficient use of available resources.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align schedules with project goals.
Required Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project planning and scheduling.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Reporting and Analysis: Proven experience in preparing and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including KPIs, SPI, total float, EV, and resource and cost metrics.
Scheduling Expertise: Strong ability to create and update CPM-based baselines.
Resource Management: Experience in allocating resources and developing corrective actions for project delays.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in infrastructure (bridge and roadworks)
