Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree related to geography, GIS, cartography, or related geospatial discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional working experience in the field related to cartography, maps preparation, digital cartographic products, geospatial data processing (vector, raster) and visualization.
• Professional experience in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro with practical experience in using Model Builder, Python (with arcpy), batch processing to automate tasks and processes.
• High attention to detail, quality mindset with technological savviness, ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Understanding cartographic concepts and methods, including creating hardcopy products
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, to clearly convey information and needs to team members and management.
• Experience in working with cartographic military products and formats.
• Professional experience in use of ESRI ArcGIS Production/Defense Mapping, Workflow Manager, Data Reviewer, Data Interoperability extensions, FME
• Nice to have Leadership/supervisor experience, Middle East experience, including basic Arabic language skills.
