Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Piping Foreman to oversee and supervise the installation of plumbing and pump systems on construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and the ability to effectively manage a team of fitters and helpers.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities
Site Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of plumbing and piping installations on the construction site.
Manpower Management: Manage, supervise, and coordinate the work of fitters and helpers to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of plumbing systems, piping, and pump installations.
Drawing Interpretation: Accurately interpret AutoCAD drawings to understand project requirements and provide clear instructions to the team.
Quality Control: Ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
Material Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, and utilization of plumbing and piping materials.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that arise during the project.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to project management.


Qualifications
Proven experience as a Plumbing and Piping Foreman with a strong background in plumbing.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, piping, and pump installations.
Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong attention to detail and quality.

Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
