Looking for Commis Waiter/Waitresses for SUSHISAMBA Riyadh [Pre-opening team]

The Role:
The primary responsibilities of a Commis Waiter/ess are to assist our service staff to exemplify uncompromising hospitality by ensuring that all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are clean and help in keeping the back areas tidy

Job Duties

 Arrives to work on time for the shift
 Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform while working
 Maintains a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
 Attends mandatory pre-shift meetings before service
 Polishes cutlery, crockery, and glassware
 Checks and folds napkins to be used to set up tables
 Sets tables with clean napkins, condiments, and other supplies
 Ensures that tables are set to standards by liaising with their respective head waiter
 As needed, wipes tables and seats with dampened cloths, and replaces dirty napkins
 Scrapes and stacks dirty dishes, and carries dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
 Cleans up spilled food, drink, and broken dishes, and removes empty bottles and trash


 Performs serving, cleaning, and stocking duties in dining rooms in order to facilitate customer service
 Is responsible for all cleaning on the floor and restaurant back areas during service
 Maintains adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays
 Serves ice water and coffee when requested
 Fills beverage and ice dispensers
 Stocks serving areas with condiments, and refills condiment containers as necessary
 Keeps wait stations clean, setting up and taking down stations appropriately
 May be asked to remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to the kitchen for cleaning
 May be asked to perform side work such as the following: stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
 Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

 High School Diploma or equivalent (desirable)
 At least 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in hotels or restaurants
 Ability to display warmth and hospitability
 Ability to work long and flexible hours
 Knowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine (desirable)
