Responsibilities

Identify and source new scrap metal suppliers
Negotiate and secure the best possible prices for scrap metal
Manage relationships with existing suppliers
Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Stay up-to-date on market trends and pricing
Assist with the development of purchasing strategies
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing
Experience in the scrap metal recycling industry is a must
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
