We are urgently Required of below category as Local Iqama Transfer.


Position : Quantity Surveyor

Qty: 05

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
1. Must have at least have an associate degree in any engineering course. Preferably Mechanical Engineering.
2. Must be well versed in mathematical calculations
3. Must be thorough and pay attention to detail.
4. Must possess excellent analytical thinking skills
5. Must be persistent must have good thinking and reasoning skills.
6. Knowledge and experience working within construction industry.
7. Must be knowledgeable in different phases of construction.
8. Must have ken attention to details
9. Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Suite and other data entry programs
10. Experience in Construction Industry (Electro-Mechanical is a plus)
Experience in GCC at least 5 years
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible on helping to estimate costs, material quantities and project timelines. Leases with the Project Management Team and helping it to stay on track. Assumes other duties as assigned by his immediate superior.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages costs and budgets effectively
2. Liaises with clients to identify their needs. Estimates quantities, costs and time scales for material and labor.
3. Prepares tender and contract documents.
4. Identifies and weighs up commercial risks.
5. Assigns work to subcontractors.
6. Coordinates with the project management team on critical materials and equipment affecting the progress of work.
Assist in the checking of project billings
