Position Overview: As our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing our operational processes, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient execution of our business objectives. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our day-to-day operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee key operational functions, including supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and inventory control.
Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, quality standards, and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO or in a similar capacity within the trading or logistics industry.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a track record of driving operational excellence and achieving measurable results.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
Proficiency in project management, process improvement methodologies, and technology solutions.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
