Description


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Researches, designs, and develops corporate, division, and/or region level projects that deliver cost-effective services to support the Company's business objectives.
2. Leads projects of major importance to overall business operations. Works with various senior managers and leaders to lay out project implementation guidelines and plan for manpower and/or other resource requirements.
3. Evaluates outside service providers or contractors; provides direction in the development of tailored services; negotiates contract terms and conditions.
4. Assists with staffing requirements relating to corporate projects. Conducts interviews, hires, and trains new employees for specific project assignments.
5. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
6. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
7. Look forward and Assist GM/EP in all operation matters under his responsibility.
8. Create and continuously improve Program and Project Management standards and methods for business and IT initiatives.
9. Lead the creation, documentation, and approval of processes for Program and Project Management.
10. Lead the organization through changes and the adoption of maturing methodologies.
11. Utilize and understand PM methodologies and tools.
12. Facilitate full project lifecycle planning and tracking.
13. Facilitate the initiative intake, approval, and prioritization process.
14. Facilitate and drive risk and issue lifecycle management.
15. Create and present executive level and project team level scorecards.
16. Prepare and present project information and task details to project team members and executive leadership.
17. Participate in the development and deployment of a formal Project Management Methodology.
18. Proactively resolve conflict among team members and functional teams.
19. Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the company.
20. Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
21. Train/coach/mentor Project Managers on methods, standards, and tools.
22. Ensure adequate support is provided to all project team members.
23. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Complies with the Project and Company safety procedures and regulations.

2. Attends training courses and or seminars, as required by the Company.

3. Support and assist training programs of the Company; with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of sub - Departments.


ACADEMIC EDUCATION:
Engineering Graduate in
Project Management / Construction Management or Operation Management.
Technology/Management
A Master Degree is preferred

WORK CONDITIONS:
Can perform works with sense of urgency and ability to complete works to deadlines.
Preferably a licensed engineer

CERTIFICATION:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
Thorough knowledge of MS Office Software.
Understands Primavera software.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 to 10 years (post qualification) work experience with solid background in ENTERPRISE PROJECT MANAGEMENT , OPERATION MANAGEMENT , STRATEGIC PLANNING , BUSINESS STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT for Major construction companies (PMC – EPC – EPCM) and projects.

KSA experience is essential.
